Abraham Accords Signing Ceremony Held at the White House

UAE, Bahrain, and Israel affirm normalized relations in Middle East peace agreements.

Leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel met with President Trump at the White House on Tuesday and participated in the ceremonial signing of the Abraham Accords normalizing diplomatic relations between the two Arab nations and Israel. These agreements are historic as only two other peace agreements with Israel have been negotiated in 72 years, the most recent being in 1994.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani each spoke of the historic occasion for enduring peace and hope in the Middle East.

President Trump stated that history is being “set on a new course” and that this indicates “the dawn of a new Middle East.” He said, Today the world sees that [these nations] are choosing cooperation over conflict, friendship over enmity, prosperity over poverty, and hope over despair. They are choosinga future in which Arabs and Israelis, Muslims, Jews, and Christians can live together, pray together, and dream together.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Arab nations of the Middle East that are considering joining in the Abraham Accords.
  • For President Donald Trump as he continues to work for peaceful, cooperative relationships between nations.
  • For the diplomatic agreements to benefit and strengthen the nations involved.
